Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente set for Dec. 27 at 10:00 a.m

San Diego, CA – Dec. 11, 2023 – The Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente is set to take place on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 10:00 a.m. The parade will return to its normal route on Pacific Highway, passing the County Administration building, and concluding where North Harbor Drive meets Pacific Highway. Thousands of spectators are expected, with live streaming available on CBS 8+ and www.holidaybowl.com.

Sponsored by the Port of San Diego: The Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente aims to bring the waterfront to life, featuring gigantic balloons, specialty units, marching bands, and floats.   • Honorary Chairmen: Steve Fisher, who built the San Diego State Aztecs basketball into a national powerhouse program.
  • Road Closure: Harbor Drive from Grape Street to Broadway on Dec. 27, 7:45 a.m. to approximately 11:45 a.m.
  • Transportation: Limited parking; public transportation encouraged. San Diego Trolley provides convenient service.
  • Game Day: The 44th annual DIRECTV Holiday Bowl will be played at Petco Park on Dec. 27 at 5:00 p.m., televised nationally on FOX. For the second year in a row, the 101.5 KGB Sky Show will light up the San Diego skyline following the Louisville vs. USC matchup. Tickets available at www.HolidayBowl.com.
