The Holiday Bowl, produced by Sports San Diego, has partnered with Tickets for Teachers to provide free tickets exclusively for verified educators. Tickets for Teachers is supported nationally by the College Football Playoff Foundation and distributes free and discounted tickets to teachers across the country.

Free tickets for this year’s Holiday Bowl, taking place Friday, January 2, 2026, at Snapdragon Stadium, will be available on a first come first served basis. Eligible teachers can secure theirs by completing the standard verification process through Tickets for Teachers.

Through this program, up to 20 verified teachers will be eligible to receive four free Holiday Bowl tickets to the 46th annual game in San Diego each. After completing the required verification process, educators will be responsible only for a standard booking fee of $6.95 booking fee per person. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

How San Diego teachers can access this deal:
Teachers should visit our dedicated sign-up page for educators, right here.

From there, teachers complete the short form — entering their school/employer name, personal details, and their work email address.

Once submitted, teachers will go through the Tickets for Good verification process. This may happen automatically if their school is already the system. If not, the Tickets for Good our team will manually verify them.

Once verified, teachers can log in and book tickets immediately.

This offer is part of a broader effort to connect teachers with cultural and sporting events across the country. Tickets for Teachers is a nationwide platform that distributes donated tickets exclusively to educators, with sponsorship and support from the College Football Playoff Foundation. So far, the platform has helped thousands of teachers access unforgettable live experiences from football games and concerts to theater and comedy often at no cost other than a small booking fee.

“Teachers play a vital part role in communities all across the country, and to honor them is a no-brainer,” said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego. “My wife is an educator, and I know firsthand how much teachers put into their profession and develop our future generations.”
