DIRECTV HOLIDAY BOWL MATCHUP SET FOR 2024, 2025 GAMES

Pac-12 Announces Bowl Affiliations for Next Two Years

San Diego, CA (July 12, 2024) – The Pac-12 today announced it has retained its existing bowl partnerships for the 2024 and 2025 football seasons. The league worked cooperatively with the ACC, Big 12, and Big Ten conferences to solidify each affiliation, including the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl, Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl, SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl, Starco Brands LA Bowl hosted by Gronk, Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, Valero Alamo Bowl, and the ESPN bowl pool.

From among the current and former Pac-12 teams, the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl will share the second selection after the CFP with the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl. The Holiday will continue to host a top-tier team from the ACC.

”The DIRECTV Holiday Bowl is excited to be able to make this announcement today,” said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego, the group that organizes the annual Holiday Bowl. “This is absolutely what is best for our bowl game, the San Diego community, and for the entire bowl system. We look forward to staging one of the nation’s premier bowl matchups at Snapdragon Stadium this December.”

Over the 2024 and 2025 seasons, each of the Pac-12’s bowl partners will continue its agreed-upon selection process among current and former Pac-12 football teams.

The kickoff date and time for the 2024 DIRECTV Holiday Bowl will be announced soon.
