It’s America’s Largest Balloon Parade! The streets of downtown San Diego come alive with the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente! This exciting family event brings world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams, and a procession of enormous balloons. Street side viewing of the parade is free!
The Snapdragon Bowl Bash is a time for fans and locals to gather in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego for FREE family fun, great food, live music and more. The Snapdragon Bowl Bash features a live performance by BOTH university bands and featured specials offered by select restaurants and stores in the Gaslamp Quarter!
Fans will kick-off their evening of football and fun at the Technology Integration Group Tailgate Party taking place at Venue 808.
The 27th annual Holiday Bowl National Funding 5K Run/Walk will take place along San Diego’s beautiful harbor front. Athletes will run past 100,000 cheering spectators and can watch the remainder of the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente.

SAN DIEGO (December 23, 2022)- SDCCU Holiday Bowl officials announced today that longtime bowl partner, SeaWorld San Diego, is providing one-day park admission tickets to the first 10,000 fans through the Petco Park gates for the 2022 SDCCU Holiday Bowl. It’s one park admission ticket per person, while supplies last.
SAN DIEGO (December 22, 2022)-Conner Annicharico has been selected from a pool of San Diego County student-athletes to receive the 2022 Dr Pepper Most Inspirational Player Award. Annicharico will be presented with a $2,000 scholarship on the field at the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl.
The University of Oregon (9-3) from the Pac-12 Conference and University of North Carolina (9-4) from the ACC have accepted invitations to play in the 43rd annual SDCCU Holiday Bowl. The bowl game is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28 at 5:00 p.m. PST. It will air on FOX and be the first football game ever played in downtown San Diego’s Petco Park. This is also the inaugural year of the SDCCU Holiday Bowl and 101.5 KGB Sky Show partnership; the iconic San Diego fireworks show starts once the Holiday Bowl ends.
