The 22nd annual Barona Million Dollar Hole-in-One Shootout, a fund-raiser for the non-profit Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl, begins Monday, September 6th and runs through Friday, September 17th at Stadium Golf Center, located off I-15 at Aero Drive. The event is closed Saturday and Sunday, September 11th and 12th. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Daily prizes will be awarded to the ten golfers who come closest to the 125-yard hole each day. Prizes include $500 travel vouchers from Kahala Travel, tickets to the Farmers Insurance Open, hotel stays, golf outings, Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl game tickets and more.
The top golfer each day, as well as any golfer who sinks a hole-in-one during the ten-day event, will advance to the Final Shootout at Barona Creek Golf Club on Monday, September 20th. An ace there will win a golfer $1 million. If nobody gets a hole-in-one, then the participant with the shot stopping closest to the pin will win another great prize.
