La Mesa’s “Kelly” Glover beat seven other dachshunds at Petco Park to claim San Diego’s spot in the finals of the 2008 Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals – A Pacific Life Holiday Bowl Production. The championship race is December 29th before the start of the Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade in downtown San Diego.
